Care Fair

The Care Team needs you!  Are you looking for a ministry where you can serve others and share Christ's love?  Look no further, we have various ministries from which to choose.  As disciples of Christ, we are called to love and care for one another. The caring ministries and contact persons are listed below, please come to the Care Fair and find a ministry (or two) where you can share your gifts with others. Members of the teams and the contact person will be on hand to answer your questions and get you signed up! 

 

Care Team Ministries

• Online Prayer Team - This online group prays for the concerns submitted by members and staff.  Robbie Kane
• Spirit Connection - This in-person prayer team meets at the church, every Wednesday at 5:30pm to pray specifically for FFMC, staff, leadership, and congregation. Kim Sanders 
• Meal Teams - Meal teams provide meals for members who are experiencing various life events.  A team can be comprised of several people or 1 person.  Teams take turns, so the more teams we have, the easier the load. You can form your own team, or we can help you find a team.  Beth Osborne/ Barbara Ware 
• Card writers This group writes notes of encouragement as needed.  Generally, you are assigned a month to be responsible for writing notes. Stationery is provided. Amanda Kane 
• Prayer Shawl ministry This group meets the third Monday of the month at the church at 11:00am.  Bring your project and make prayer shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets, etc. Nanci Istock
• Grief ministry: Mail 4 grief share booklets to those who have lost loved ones. Dee Vaughn
